These free DIY dollhouse plans would make a great gift for the holidays, a birthday, or just because your child deserves something extra special. It makes a wonderful keepsake and is a great way to encourage imaginative play.

These dollhouses can be made out of a variety of materials including wood, cardboard, and paper depending on how much time and money you'd like to spend on the project. You can also encourage children to help out with the building and decorating of the dollhouse so they can make it their own. Most of these plans are suitable for the beginner but a few of them will need some woodworking experience.

Also, there are tons of adorable free printables of dollhouse furniture and accessories so you can finish the dollhouse with style. Just pick the room styles you like and adhere to the shelf wall. You can even use magnets for the dollhouse for easy play.

This easy-to-build wooden DIY dollhouse from A Beautiful Mess is made out of plywood and a few screws. The result is a three-level dollhouse perfect for imaginary play. There are also some great tips about decorating the dollhouse including using washi tape for windows. You can make the furniture from balsa wood and hot glue, creating whatever details you like.
